There has been a lot of negative press recently because of the Coronavirus. Heck, every time I turn on the TV you just get bombarded with how bad things are going.
So I wanted to find a couple of videos that would cheer people up not put them down.
The first video is from my other blog for Irish moving to Australia. It was posted a few years back but it still cracks me up!
Think you can understand the Irish accent? Try these lads from Creedon’s Top of Coom pub on the Cork – Kerry border reopens after it was destroyed by fire in 2012.
But wait there is more!
Two farmers in county Kerry, Mikey Joe O’Shea and Richie Griffin have lost over 45 sheep, worth potentially thousands of euro. They have the thickest Kerry accent imaginable. See if you can decipher what they are saying.
And probably one of my favourite Tommy Tiernan bits “When Irish people had money”:
I hope these three videos put a smile on your face. Be sure to subscribe to my weekly dose of Irish where I sent updates straight to you inbox every Friday. Join here(it’s free!)
