Well, now, being from Cork myself, I always enjoy seeing some locals get out there on social media. Korey Power, who is regularly singing and doing live shows on TikTok, busks from the streets of Cork and invites this charming six-year-old to sing a song with him. The video was uploaded in two parts, which I have included below. And worth mentioning that both are well worth watching!
The first video by Korey Power reached over 500k views and part two, which he only released a few days ago, has well over 300k views. And it is no wonder why. The boy from Mayfield in Cork told Cork’s 96FM that he was out in the city with his nan when he heard Korey singing his favourite song: ‘Fix You by Coldplay, and he had to go up to him for a chat. The videos have been flooded with comments suggesting that the six-year-old would be a perfect fit for the Late Late Toy show, which is set to air on Friday, 25 November, at 9:35 pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. I hope Ryan Tubirty will squeeze him in!
