What Does Ireland Mean To You? The Road Not Taken

What does Ireland mean to you? Yesterday I shared this lovely 60 minutes of epic drone footage from Ireland. The feedback from everyone was great.

Today I found a much more touching video from the same actual producers called “the road not taken.”

This video has such a nice emotional touch to it—a lovely Irish girl wandering around some incredible spots in Ireland.

She is also reading an incredible poem which was written by Robert Frost.

With over 1.1 million views, it is clear to see why this video touched so many people.

Fantastic video, fantastic editing and fantastic voice overwork. Yes, I did say three fantastic’s haha.

For many of us abroad we do not have the opportunity to visit Ireland, so I wanted to bring Ireland to you.

One of my favourite comments on the video was:

Go to any part of the video. pause. boom, wallpaper.

I think you all will enjoy this video. Sit back, have a cup of tea and relax.

And if you are not subscribed to my weekly dose of Irish you can join here(takes 10 seconds)

I was taken to Ireland as a 6 mo. old against my will. The 1st time I returned I was about 35. My cousin and I took an overnight ferry from Liverpool to Belfast. Coming up on deck in the early morning the ship was just pulling into Belfast harbour. As I got my 1st sight of the green fields beyond I let out a big sigh and in my mind I said "I'm home". I was so surprised as I had never thought that before. I'm sure the land your born on stays with you the rest of your life. I've been back many times since and am at peace on Irish soil every visit. letter brought me to tears twice.

Your posts this week brought me to tears twice. I think it's time for another visit.
