I hope you have an incredible St Patrick’s day wherever you are in the world!

Before I pressed play on this incredible song I popped into the YouTube comments and the first one that caught my eye was:

If you’ve got even one drop of Irish blood in you, you WILL well up with tears at this.  This is as close to perfect as it gets.

So rest assured I had high expectations for this cover. St Patrick’s day is only a few days away and I just shared the Muppets singing Danny Boy for St Patrick’s day

The crowd is dead silent. Such reverence and respect for this beautiful song. Honestly, their voice is like angels.

And if you want to sing along I have the lyrics underneath the video:

“Danny Boy”

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountainside
The summer’s gone, and all the roses falling
It’s you, it’s you must go and I must bide.

But come ye back when summer’s in the meadow
Or when the valley’s hushed and white with snow
It’s I’ll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

But when ye come, and all the flowers are dying
If I am dead, as dead I well maybe
You’ll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an ave there for me.

And I shall hear, though soft you tread above me
And all my grave will warmer, sweeter be
For you will bend and tell me that you love me
And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me.

Did you enjoy this cover?

I sure did! I hope you have an amazing St Patrick’s day! Be sure to share this article.

These are beautiful very talented singers, and a credit to Ireland.
