The first St. Patrick's Day in US was on 1600. An Irish priest called Fr. Richard Arthur was responsible for it and it was celebrated in St. Augustine, Florida. This priest also name St. Patrick the Patron of the corn (maize) growers. The first St. Patrick's Parade was done in 1601 in St. Augustine too. The bill for the fireworks that were used on the Parade is found in the Archives of Indes, in Seville, Spain.
