For those that don’t speak Irish the chorus goes like this:

A Thiarna, déan trócaire (Lord have mercy)

A Chríost, déan trócaire (Christ have mercy)

A Thiarna, déan trócaire

(Lord have mercy)

A Chríost, déan trócaire (Christ have mercy)

Celtic Thunder started In 2007 producer Sharon Browne filmed the first-ever Celtic Thunder show at the Helix in Dublin, Ireland.

The concept was to feature a group of men from Ireland and Scotland.

They also were to range in age from 14 to 40 and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

Since the original group’s formation in 2007, Celtic Thunder has released twelve albums as well as ten live performances on DVD, three of which were split into two releases.
